No Doubt Performs, NCIS’ Pauley Perrette MCs at ‘An Evening With Women’
No Doubt, Sia and Sarah Silverman will perform and Pauley Perrette (NCIS) will emcee at the annual “An Evening With Women” fundraiser for the LA LGBT Center, May 16 at the Hollywood Palladium. Kate Moennig, Ruby Rose and Cam Grey are set to deejay the Siren Studios After Party.
The evening includes a star-studded red carpet, a hosted bar and silent auction at 6 p.m., a sit-down dinner-show at 8 p.m., followed by the after party.
“This is going to be a really cool show for us.” No Doubt said in a statement. “We are so honored to be joining the lineup … we applaud the tremendous work Los Angeles LGBT Center has done over the years in striving to create a community where all people are equal and treated with fairness and dignity.”
Sia stated, “I am so happy and proud to be a part of An Evening with Women again this year, and to honor the excellent work they do for the LGBTQ community of Los Angeles.”
Singer-songwriter Linda Perry, a longtime supporter of the center’s work, co-chairs along with Brent Bolthouse, Annie Goto and Kelly Lynch. The “Evening” has raised more than $4.65 million dollars since 2002 for the vital services provided to underserved seniors, women and girls, including homeless youth surviving on the streets of Los Angeles.
Since Perry got involved in 2009, many A-list performers have been recruited to the event—including Pink, Christina Aguilera, Cyndi Lauper, Heart, Courtney Love, Juliette Lewis, Kat Von D, Wanda Sykes, Sarah Silverman, Renee Zellweger, and Lily Tomlin, among others.
“An Evening With Women” is presented by Toyota Financial Services and sponsored by Wells Fargo Bank, American Airlines, Anita May Rosenstein Foundation, Artists for Trauma, UBS, KPL Select, Ralphs/Food 4 Less and US Bank.
