Ellen DeGeneres returns to host the Oscars; Zadan and Meron produce broadcast

Ellen DeGeneres announced this morning that she will be hosting the 86th Annual Academy Awards airing on March 2, 2014 on ABC. She previously hosted the 79th Annual ceremony in 2007. “I am so excited to be hosting the Oscars for the second time. You know what they say – the third time’s the charm,” said DeGeneres.
The 86th Annual Academy Awards will be presented on Sunday March 2, 2014 and air live from the Dolby Theatre on ABC.
She previously hosted the 79th Annual ceremony in 2007. There are few stars today who have Ellen’s gift for comedy, with her great warmth and humanity.
