Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family in New Zealand for first day of gay marriage

Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson recently helped celebrate a historic event, as a Auckland same-sex couple tied the knot mid-flight on the first day of legalized same-sex marriage in New Zealand. Lynley Bendall and Ally Wanikau, who have been together almost 14 years, wed onboard a special Air New Zealand flight from Queenstown to Auckland in front of family and friends and actor and marriage equality campaigner Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family. The pair exchanged pounamu (New Zealand greenstone) in place of traditional wedding bands.
