Actor Wilson Cruz, Grammy-winner Estelle and the evening’s eye-catching honoree, Olympic soccer star Megan Rapinoe, helped raise more than $700,000 in support of the LA Gay & Lesbian Center services on Saturday, Nov. 10.

The center’s 41st Anniversary Gala & Auction drew more than 1,000 guests to the Bonaventure downtown Los Angeles. Megan Rapinoe, one of the 23 openly LGBT athletes in the Olympic Games in London this year, was part of the gold medal-winning women’s soccer team.
