The Palms Bar Announces Impending Closure – West Hollywood, CA Patch

GoWEHO is saddened to see the future closing of one of our city’s most treasured girl bars.

After nearly 50 years of serving West Hollywood Patrons, the owners of the Palms Bar on 8572 Santa Monica Boulevard announced on Facebook Saturday evening that they would be leaving the location within the next few months.

In a Facebook posting, the owners stated the move was motivated by the building owner’s desire to sell the property. However the closure of the Santa Monica location did not necessarily mean the death of the Palms Bar altogether. Though saddened by the impending closure, The Palms Bar expressed gratitude to the many customers that helped make their establishment one of the premier Lesbian bars in Weho.

We wish them success and hope to see a new Palms Bar in the future!
