HISTORY IS MADE! Supreme Court strikes down DOMA and returns marriage to California

Breaking News!

The Supreme Court has made rulings on the DOMA (Defense of Marriage Act) and Prop 8. Their rulings strike down DOMA as unconstitutional and restore gay marriage in California. This means that commited and loving same-sex couples who are legally married will be entitled to equal treatment under federal law– with regard to, for example, income taxes and Social Security benefits, as explained by GLAAD.

This is a big day in the history of marriage equality!
