What is post-gay?

Out actor Sean Hayes describes the sexuality of the character in his upcoming television show as incidental. ‘It’s an afterthought just like any other character or minority now,’ Hayes said, as reported by the site Deadline. ‘But I think of this as a post-gay show where there is a gay man at the center but it’s not about his being gay.’Will & Grace aired on NBC from 1998 to 2006. Sean Saves the World, also an NBC program, has Hayes as the father of a 14-year-old girl who moves in with her dad. GO West Hollywood GO WEHO LGBT Entertainment News and Industry
