Outfest Makes Call for Family Film Shorts!

Outfest is reaching out to everyday LGBTQ allied families for self-produced film shorts! Submissions are due by May 30th and will be part of “Family Fun Day.” Outfest says:

“For the Outfest 2013 Family Fun Day, we would like to screen the work of future filmmakers! We’d love to showcase your family’s cinematic creativity and screen a series of homemade, self-produced shorts!”

We think its a great idea and will show a slice of life in the LGBTQ community that seems rare, but is not. Kudos Outfest!
