Amy Tan, Stacey Abrams, Lionel Richie Among Authors to Appear at LA Times Festival of Books

Authors Amy Tan, Larry David, Stacey Abrams, Lionel Richie and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a few of the celebrity authors among hundreds of authors and literary experts slated for the LA Times Festival of Books on April 18-19, 2026.

The book festival returns to the University of Southern California (USC) campus with free admission. Admission to some events and panels range from $7.50+.

Book festival veterans such as longtime LA Times reporter Patt Morrison will moderate panels and manage the stages, while exhibitor booths. Whether your genre is biography, true crime, or historical fiction, check out the lineup and ticket information below.
