Belinda Carlisle in Concert

Belinda
Carlisle fans rejoice! She
will be performing March 7^th at the House of Blues, her
first tour in over 10 years and a rare chance to see her up close
in an intimate setting. Of
course over the last couple years, she’s toured with the Go-Go’s
which was wonderful, but my one disappointment of the two shows
I got to see at the Greek Amphitheatre was the absence of her solo
music. I’m a bigger
fan of her post Go-Go’s songs, so when I found out that she was
going to play at the House of Blues I immediately bought tickets.

Where
has Belinda Carlisle been you may ask?
Well, after disappearing from the charts in the early 90s,
she moved to France, got married, had a son and enjoyed a successful
pop career in Europe, returning to the States during the occasional
Go-Go’s reunions.

This
mini-tour of the States isn’t in support of a new album and may
just be a thank you to her fans that have felt neglected over the
years. So here’s
your chance to see Belinda performing all of her classic songs like
“Leave a Light On”, “Mad About You”, “Circle in the Sand”, “Heaven
Is a Place on Earth” and hopefully some of her European hits like
“All God’s Children”.
